This is a new tree to our yard, a crabapple. It's not very mature yet, but it's loaded with blooms this spring. It has a lovely scent when you walk anywhere near it. I couldn't resist snapping a pic. All of the colors look so springy! I had to share. :-)

My blog name comes from the fact that I love the color indigo, and I think the notion of inklings covers my introspective side as well as my love for getting inky with my projects.
