More examples using the Big Shot

I just wanted to post a couple of ATCs that I made using various dies and embossing folders in the Big Shot. It's great to be able to use stuff from just about any manufacturer.

Blue Christmas

To make this Blue Christmas ATC, I used a Quikutz wafer die for the snowman and his hat. I colored some of the pieces with Sharpies and added some sparkle with a Stardust pen. His background was made by running some Colorbok Christmas patterned paper through my Big Shot with the Cuttlebug d'vine swirl embossing folder. The impression was very crisp! I used EK Success corner punches, a Rubber Soul sentiment, and a large patterned snowflake brad to complete this ATC.

Plaid Christmas

I love the look of the Cuttlebug swirls! I couldn't resist using them again for this ATC. This time I used it on plaid paper as a background for a Christmas tree die cut that I found at Target. The sentiment is by Rubber Soul and is accented by a dot of green Stickles.

I just wanted to show some of the things that I've been able to do with my Big Shot. So far it's done everything that I've wanted it to do. Can't wait until tomorrow when I can play with it a bit more.

  1. These are great! I am in LOVE with the CB's embosing folders. Oh my goodness... they have some pretty irresistable designs! And I love what you did on the tree ATC, embossing the PP like that... SO clever! :D
