Sorry, no crafting being done here today. I am celebrating the release of Diana Gabaldon's 7th book in her Outlander series. Picked up my copy this morning....
No worries, crafting will resume soon. I just need to get my Jamie and Claire fix. :-)
Welcome to Indigo Inklings. This is where I talk about some of my rubber stamping projects and digital graphics. My blog name comes from the fact that I love the color indigo, and I think the notion of inklings covers my introspective side as well as my love for getting inky with my projects. I hope you find something here to interest or inspire you.

ah ah ah - there's a new one!!!!!!? Gimme gimme!! Unforunately it doesn't publish in the UK until early next year which is a complete and utter bummer! Don't give away any plot spoilers!! ;-) That said, I hope you enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteYay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

You don't really expect to do anything for a few days, do you? LOL I can't wait to start my copy but I know when I do nothing much will be done for a few days.
ReplyDeleteI am so with you! This has to be my all-time favorite series...now if I could just find my very own "Jamie" everything would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteLike you I'm a midwesterner - from St. Louis. I just received my copy of "Echo" in the mail. It's been a while since I read them - so I stared using audios for the first four - them I'll finish up with the written word. Looks like we read a lot of the same authors. Enjoy your website - Vicki
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous! Still waiting for mine! Ordered it online and I won't do that again because I'm still waiting!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
I am another lover of this series. In the UK the first book was called Cross Stitch and it was bought for me by a friend who knew I liked doing cross stitch, (even though it had nothing to do with sewing!) Since then I have been hooked on this series and am so looking forward to getting my hands on the next book!
ReplyDeleteThe book is great! I'm managing not to devour it too quickly. Don't worry--you won't see any spoilers from me.
ReplyDeleteA few observations:
I've heard that the audiobooks for ECHO should be available before too long. Davina Porter just wrapped up recording them last week. I think this would be a good one to listen to as well as read.
I have to say that after preordering once, I wait until release day and just pick my book up. I may not always start in on it right away, but there's something comforting about having it close by for when I am ready to dive in. :-)
And Sam, some folks in the UK have received copies of the book this week via Orion, though I'm not sure of all of the details. You can get your hands on it earlier than next year though.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope that many of you have gotten your hands on the new book by now. :-)
Found you thru SCS (and will be following--this blog is FANTASTIC!) and then to find out you are as fixated with Jamie and Claire as I am...well, that's just icing on the cake LOL! (Hope you loved Echo--I did)
ReplyDeleteI too just found you through SCS & I'm also hooked on Jamie & Claire's various & "timely" adventures!!! Have all paperbacks rather than hard cover, so decided (due to lots of bdays/holidays all lumped together) I'll wait for the paperback. Every time I go to Costco, I just want to grab the hard cover book, throw it in my cart & check out with it - LOL!!! It's like being little & having to wait for Santa to come! ;0(
ReplyDeleteHi from Australia....I, too am hooked on the series, have read it twice already and still am not bored with it. Echo has just been released here so that's my xmas present to myself. LOL!
ReplyDeleteisn't it exciting so many readers have heard of this wonderful author.
