Updating

I'm updating in more ways than one. It's been a while since I've posted. It's been a while since I've stamped or crafted, too. I'm eager to get back to it soon! Been busy here with my girls' dance recital. They danced last weekend and did beautifully! :-) My Mom came up for that, so we've had a fun week of visiting, and shopping, and more shopping. Then yesterday my DH and I celebrated 21 years of happily wedded bliss, and of course today is Father's Day. So, that's my first update and explanation for why things have been quiet here.

It's also that time of year where I seem to need to shake things up a bit. I don't recall just when I last changed the template of this blog. I've had a couple now. But ever since I made the change over to a Mac, I've had a wonderfully HUGE screen resolution (YAY!), and my blog has been looking pitifully narrow to me (*sigh*). Peeking at my blog stats, it looks like the vast majority of my visitors and readers have higher screen resolutions too, so I've decided to make my blog template wider. Actually, I did that already, but I don't like the way the blog now loads the background somewhat more slowly than the text. Later tonight I'm going to try to fix that by uploading my own tweaked template. I'm hoping that the transition will go smoothly, but there may be issues along the way while I get things looking just how I'd like for them to look. So, if anything looks a little off, particularly with the widgets in my sidebar, it's because I'm tweaking. I'm not planning any major changes. The tutorials and info will still be listed and available. I'm just making a few cosmetic changes, and hopefully the end result will be a good one and pleasing to your eyes as well.
