Ahhh, I'm back from vacation where we spent time visiting relatives and playing tourist. It was great fun, but now it's time to get some craft time in!
I wanted to post a transparent card that I made using double-sided K & Company cardstock. Double-sided paper is great for these transparent cards and albums. It opens up a lot of possibilities. This is a simple design using Sassafras Lass stamps, Versafine inks, and scalloped circle punches.
This particular design doesn't leave a lot of room for writing on the inside without it showing on the outside, but short and sweet can be good. This was just a regular transparency that I cut down to A2 size and folded well using my bone folder. The double-sided paper let me put a scalloped border around the image on the front of the card and another one around the inner page. The sheet that I adhered to the back of the card gave some added sturdiness to it, too. I left room to add an Offray ribbon to embellish, and that was it. It's a fun challenge to work with the added dimensions that using transparencies gives.
Welcome to Indigo Inklings. This is where I talk about some of my rubber stamping projects and digital graphics. My blog name comes from the fact that I love the color indigo, and I think the notion of inklings covers my introspective side as well as my love for getting inky with my projects. I hope you find something here to interest or inspire you.
