So, the question after embossing Primas with the mesh Cuttlebug embossing folder was, would this work with silk flowers as well. I gave that a try because I was curious to see if the embossing would hold. I "cuttled" these flowers this afternoon. Then I realized that it might be fun to test some Stiffy fabric stiffening spray that I'd found when I cleaned up my craft space. It's made by Plaid. I sprayed the white flower with it and dried it with my heat gun. It lost the embossing, so I ran it through again. This is how both flowers looked 5 hours later.
The white flower has held the embossing better, I think. The purple has a more subtle effect at this point. I'll update if they look noticeably different tomorrow.
Welcome to Indigo Inklings. This is where I talk about some of my rubber stamping projects and digital graphics. My blog name comes from the fact that I love the color indigo, and I think the notion of inklings covers my introspective side as well as my love for getting inky with my projects. I hope you find something here to interest or inspire you.
