More pics of birds and snow

The birds have been very active at the feeders today. They've looked so pretty against the backdrop of snow. Here are some cardinals and a close-up of a downy woodpecker.

I think the snow is almost finished. Just a few light flurries now. Looks like we got about 5-6 inches of snow out there. Not too bad.

  1. Holy Cow, Jay! Do these birds POSE for you, or what. :D I want a cage full of the male cardinals - he's SO gorgeous! And throw in a couple of females because they complement the males so well. The woodpecker is cute, too! How do you get such great pictures. :D

  3. LOL! Those birds are just very cooperative, Judie. We feed them and they pose for the camera.

Speaking of cameras, Stacy, I use an Olympus Camedia C-720. I love the zoom! I also do a little bit of post-processing with Paint Shop Pro.
