Extra postage mini envies

I thought that this was a neat idea. For swaps, it's not unusual for a hostess to ask that swappers enclose an extra stamp or two, along with a SASE, for the return trip. I'd been putting mine inside a tiny ziploc baggie. The theme of this swap was to come up with a small envelope of some sort to use for those extra stamps--needless to say, something prettier than a plain plastic baggie. Here's what I came up with.

The patterned paper is by We R Memory Keepers. I used Heidi Swapp alpha stamps for the text and an Ellison die cut for the stamp layer. This was just a 3 inch square piece of paper, folded into an envelope shape. Quick and easy and much more fun than boring old plastic bags!

  2. What a great idea, I'm always concerned that the extra postage will get lost in with the swaps, this is a perfect solution!

  3. It's been a very busy week here. I'll post a diagram of what I did for my mini-envies. I just need to draw it up. I've seen some nice ones made using mini-folder die cuts or the die cut mini-envelopes, too.
